Good place to grow your skills, but be ready for the workload
Pros
Working in the Finance Tower at eClerx has been a great learning experience, you’ll really sharpen your AR and accounting skills here. The exposure to global clients and structured processes is solid, and the work-from-home setup has been a huge help for me as a first-time mom. The only challenge is the heavy workload, especially during month-end, plus the extra admin tasks that come with the role. Still, it’s a good place to grow your career and build strong discipline in finance.
Cons
Month-end and quarter-end periods can be very demanding with long hours and tight deadlines, especially for those supporting U.S. accounts on night shifts, which can make maintaining work-life balance a challenge. Compensation is fair but doesn’t always reflect the level of workload and responsibility. Since eClerx took over Personiv, the allowances and benefits have also become worse, what used to be automatically credited through payroll is now processed as reimbursements, which take much longer to be received by employees. There are also too many seminars and trainings that aren’t directly related to your actual work, yet are often mandatory, adding to the overall workload. On top of that, there are additional admin tasks outside the core role such as trackers, reports, manual updates, and repetitive documentation, that can pile up and take time away from actual analysis work. Some internal approvals and IT processes also tend to move slowly, which can further add to the pressure during peak periods.
