Great Company

Pros

If you are motivated and can roll with the punches it is a great company. Some leads are better than others but if you treat it as a sales job you’ll make great money. Benefits are great and is one of the only insurance jobs with base pay. Remote work and they supply computer and everything needed, and have thorough training process.

Cons

Supervisors are taught to micromanage. Some are better than others, but you will get your calls picked apart. You have to be confident and coachable.

Pros

- The current senior leadership is sharp, engaged, and presents a clear mission/vision and plan for the future - Pretty much everyone I work with smart, driven, and passionate about what they do - The company is big enough to attract talent, but small enough that your voice can be heard - Good pay, benefits, and flexible time off - Being a remote-first company creates opportunities for people outside of the major tech hubs - Our product offering is unmatched and creates a lot of opportunities for future growth

Cons

- The company is in the process of correcting poor past performance and operations, so budgets remain tight. This leads to limited travel, understaffing in some areas, and uncommitted bonuses. - Being a remote-first company makes building a fun and cohesive company culture much more difficult - Limited opportunities for advancement in some departments due to budgetary constraints and a legacy top-heavy org structure (slowly improving)

Great Place to Learn

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Brokered across majority of states, freedom to work book, not MM commissioned. Able to truly advocate for others, as I see fit, without question. This has made eHealth a great place to learn and drive positive outcomes for members.

Cons

Adjusted bonus structures now depend on ancillary sales and activities to meet target bonus goals. The ability to work to a members need must now be balanced with the need to find new commissioned opportunities.
