Pros

Great pay, great people, family friendly, and great leadership. I’ve worked for Ehealth for over 5 years as a sales rep and I love working for this company. It’s a fun work environment and I not only enjoy what I do but I love the people I work with. I’ve referred several people over the years who’ve had a similar experience. Before coming to Ehealth I held a few other jobs and coming here I was able to almost triple my previous salary in the first year and after a few more years of experience Ive almost quadrupled my previous salary. If you work hard you can make great money.

Cons

Too many metrics to gauge success. I understand the importance of goals and metrics help to determine how well these goals are being met. But when there are too many metrics it can take the focus away from the most important goal which is sales.

Pros

lots of overtime during open enrollment. generous time off , although during AEP understandingly time off is hard to get

Cons

ramps up numbers just before AEP. company works hard to get rid of you after the annual enrollment period . have dubious performance review that does no take into account lead quality, hours ( some hours are better then others. etc. leads dries up after Dec.

Pros

Easy company to get things started in the Medicare Insurance industry. Paid training and licensing. Don't have to worry about any cost associated with licensing or contracting. Guaranteed salary.

Cons

No residual. This is a W-2 job and you are only paid for the work you do that month. Company tends to constantly change their Bonus structure. Leads are provided by the company but when they decide not to spend money on leads it seriously hurts your opportunity to sell.
