Pros

Some great people to work with (those were not attached to Fidelity) Interesting projects that tested your ability and skills to navigate a disjointed leadership structure

Cons

The hubris of the Fidelity "leaders" was somewhat astonishing. There are installed people leading the company who are simply not equipped to accomplish the goals needed for this place to remain viable. If you didn't have a Fidelity background, your opinion and recommendations meant nothing. No clear path or goals that were communicated throughout the organization. I witnessed a massive turnover in the 2 years at the company, with no clear vision for the company's future.

Pros

Allows remote employees, offers up to 15% annual bonus

Cons

You're left in the dark due to Fidelity's (parent organization) bureaucratic process.

Although we currently don’t have any mobile developers on staff nor have we ever employed someone with this title, we take all feedback seriously. We collaborate with Fidelity on an ongoing basis, and we make every effort to keep our employees informed about these projects and other companywide initiatives. All news and updates are cascaded down regularly through weekly communications and monthly and quarterly companywide events as well as through managers. (And we’re continually tracking the effectiveness of these methods through surveys and employee feedback to see how we can improve.) Every member of the leadership team operates under an open door policy and welcomes inquiries from employees about our strategic priorities, current projects, etc. If employees aren’t getting what they need to perform their job, we hope they all feel empowered to go to their manager or a leadership team member with questions or concerns so we can take action.
