Pros

-Amazing people and culture -Accessible, approachable, and engaged leadership team -PTO and remote work policy -Snacks and a fun office environment -The opportunity to own your career and make your mark on the organization **I would not have left if it weren't for a once in a lifetime opportunity presenting itself.**

Cons

-Business units aren't always aligned, so you're constantly trying to manage expectations and mediate between groups to get your job done. It becomes exhausting after awhile. -Some groups regularly throw up roadblocks because of "scalability concerns" or because a deal doesn't fit in their specific definition of our product. We need revenue to scale, but to get revenue we have to sell the product. And if prospects need something that we're capable of providing, why wouldn't we do it? Isn't that how we innnovate? -They need a better way to discern "fit" as it relates to personality and style in the hiring process. What you see is not always what you get. That being said, leadership listens and does their best to address issues when they come up.

Pros

They have plenty of snacks.

Cons

What leadership? There is no transparency. Below average communication skills. Middle management low key retaliates against team members. Team members constantly fighting. Toxic environment. Men on the sales team constantly whine. NOT EVERYONE can work from home. High turn over.

As we continue to evolve as a company, we strive to maintain a culture based on integrity, passion and fun, among other core values. We believe that this approach helps us maintain a turnover rate that is lower than the industry benchmark and an average employee tenure of three years. We also value transparency, which is why we hold regular town hall meetings led by our leadership team to share business updates and allow employees to ask questions directly. We appreciate your feedback and would encourage you to contact feedback@emoneyadvisor.com to talk more about your experience at eMoney.

Pros

Most of the people are very friendly Benefits

Cons

Once Fidelity took ownership of the company, a lot of things changed, and not in all in a good way. Sure, you want to have structure and "by the book" policies, but too much change in a small amount of time isn't always the best practice (they even cut the PTO for new hires!!). I started to work at eMoney because I only heard GREAT things about the staff, culture, benefits, etc. Once the shift happened, the whole vibe in this place changed. Probably not intentionally. but it did. Management and some of the heads of other departments can put on a happy face front but let's be real, I can't see the company staying on Top Places to Work for much longer with salary caps, restrictions, and removing the "fun" from the workplace.
