don't quit your day job

Pros

i got this job when I was unemployed, but I would have been mad if I had left another company to come here. if you are a mind reader and can figure out what leadership/management wants without them ever explaining themselves, this is the place for you! if you like multiple remote meetings on camera all day with no agenda, you are in for a treat. flex hours were highlighted in the interview process and I guess those are legit, but if you don't respond on slack fast enough they'll accuse you of working another job

Cons

disorganized at every level. some reviews suggest they grew too fast, which may be true, but corporate leadership is chaotic and it makes the overall vibes, down to the program level, toxic and uncertain. turnover is HIGH. even the c suite has turnover. management is looking for someone to blame for issues that exist at the leadership level, so naturally the underlings get to be the scapegoats. pay is not particularly competitive and 3 weeks PTO is lower than many competitors in the area offer. the number of people that left in the awful 2025 job market should tell you how desperate people are to leave.

Thank you for sharing your perspective and for recognizing the talented professionals across the company. While growth and organizational evolution naturally bring challenges, several of the conclusions in this review do not reflect the broader reality of eSimplicity. eSimplicity remains deeply mission-focused — improving healthcare quality and digital experiences for millions of Americans while supporting national security and federal modernization efforts. We are also proud of our strong employee retention and the collaborative culture that continues to attract and retain talented professionals committed to meaningful, mission-driven work. We appreciate all feedback and remain committed to continuously improving the employee experience as we continue to grow and evolve.

Backstabbing and Gossip

Pros

The company tries to bring innovation to its client. They have some good people working for them but unfortunately they also have some very bad people working for them. Nothing will ever happen to these individuals because they were crucial in BD work winning contracts.

Cons

Where to start…gossip, favoritism, unrealistic deadlines and constant turn over.

We appreciate that you spent time with our team and delivered for our customers. We do a lot to build and foster a culture of "Be Real. Be Bold. Be Curious" that team members support and challenge one another at the same time. No gossip or negative attitude is tolerated. What you described do not reflect us as a company. We have taken your valuable feedback, investigated, and ensured that the team is united in delivering values to the American people and government customers. Since you already appreciate our remote first approach, your coworkers, and their intelligence and knowledge, we hope that you feel free to reach back out to discuss future opportunities again.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. While we recognize that not every employee experience will be the same, we are concerned that many of the conclusions in your review are inaccurate. eSimplicity is one of the most successful mid-tier/size businesses within the Health and National Security/Defense missions. We successfully deliver and prime large, complex enterprise modernization programs for critical government customers. Our performance is consistently reflected in strong CPARS ratings, long-standing customer relationships, and continued growth in highly competitive federal markets. It is important to clarify that our business has no 8(a) set-aside work as indicated in the comment above. We compete successfully in full-and-open environments against many well-established industry players, and our continued recompete success reflects the confidence our customers place in our teams. We also reject the characterization of our leadership and technical organizations. Our executives and technical leaders are the top leaders in the industry, bringing deep expertise across our core capabilities such as AI, Analytics, and EW. We continue investing aggressively in innovation, technical capability development, and modern delivery practices to stay ahead of evolving customer mission needs. We are always focused on improving how we communicate, collaborate, and scale as a company. We appreciate all feedback and remain committed to building a high-performing organization that delivers meaningful mission impact for our customers and strong career opportunities for our employees.
