Pros

I really enjoy working with my talented co workers and we have trust that we are all working towards a common goal. I have alot of fun working with my individual scrum team.

Cons

Have Quarterly Employee Reviews Allows for really time feedback, and make sure everyone is aligned on expectations. I rarely meet with my leader they don't have time and the meeting usually gets canceled. Change the reporting structure Team members leaders are not always on the project and provide more of a therapy session than actual help. Just a suggestion that I have seen in the majority of places I have work. Create Career Paths This has been worked on for over a year. Why? Shorten the kudos in the all hands team meeting. We don't need to review every single one. Discuss them at a high level and tell people to check them out. I rated Job Security and Advancement low because, I rarely meet with my leader, have no idea where I stand or my career path. Can we get paid every two weeks? I know why we do the 10 & 25, just odd getting paid on a Tuesday and maybe a Friday.

Pros

I LOVE my Dev team. They are smart, funny and pleasant to work with. They work hard and are not afraid of rolling up their sleeves and dig in. Our chemistry is obvious in our output. We are maturing and our velocity has increased significantly. I am proud of the work we do despite some of the roadblocks, and hurdles we have over come. Everyone is highly collaborative and has a strength that they share to achieve common goals. I value everyone's input and unique input everyone brings to the table. They make my hard days worth it.

Cons

Less nepotism and more strategic hiring in leadership. The onboarding process here is cumbersome and needs to be streamlined. eSimplicity lacks a cohesive process to properly onboard new employees to both the company and contracts. My personal experience was not as smooth as I would have expected. I was given some instructions and left to devices to figure out. Lack of support during the early stages can negatively impact an employees confidence and ability to integrate. In my experience I was not clear on processes, I reached out to peers and HR to help but in many cases I made very educated assumptions. Have true KPI's of what success looks like by role and responsibility on a program. You will attract high performers with tangible success metrics. Personally, I came to eSimplicity with a professional development goal and quickly realized there was no foundation to measure my success professionally. Revise employee benefits: Bonuses, better career advancement paths, better wellness opportunities, better PTO policy 10 hours a month is not enough even with flex time. We are working 50+ hour weeks sometimes to meet client needs.""
