I think we have a lot to do

Pros

Quiet time during the day is good - the company and management respect giving us downtime because of Covid related stress. There are a lot of extra days off, same point. I like change, so everything after Vista bought the company hasn’t bothered me, I know it bothers some people after the founder left.

Cons

I know a lot of people were pissed off after being let go when Covid started.

Pros

I’ve been here three years. I’m getting better support now than ever. I ask for contacts, I get them.customers know iCIMS, that’s a plus as a seller, not having to explain who we are all the time. My last company I worked for was a startup, no one knew who we were.

Cons

There is no doubt a LOT of change. New execs mostly. Competition is heating up with larger vendors. I need the labs engineering team to release more cross sell products.

Pros

Decent benefits, Summer Fridays (a few days off in summer), holiday PTO, great teammates.

Cons

Research other Vista Equity companies and see what happened to their culture once Vista took over. The original vision & culture that was iCIMS is no longer the case, which is no surprise that we've seen so many executives leave this year, then Steve Lucas was appointed to take over (came from Marketo, which Vista Equity sold to Adobe). There are so many flagrant red flags for this year - changes in territory, management, quota (can't even calculate your commissions as it uses a complex formula) and management becoming much more micro-management with all the intense pressure they're getting from executives. You're just another name that brings in $ to the business and there's no sincere appreciation. Speak with any tenured iCIMS Sales reps and they'll also vocalize how much less they're making in overall earnings year over year the longer they stay at iCIMS as well. Just run away, it's not worth being at iCIMS anymore.
