Pros

There is almost no pressure to work extended hours, we have a set office hours, but the office is accessible beyond those hours, if necessary. Most of management is open to new ideas. A good portion of the management truly believes in their employees and encourages everyone to succeed. They are VERY open to hiring from within and hiring fresh young people. With investment funding, management has become more open to spend to expand the workforce and explore new projects and ideas. If you are unsatisfied with your current role, management is open to relocating you to a position within the company that is a better suit, if you are a strong performer. Fairly easy to have a strong work/life balance, and management is open to working with you on this.

Cons

Having a workforce with very little experience can sometimes be frustrating, as they are not as aware of more robust solutions in the marketplace. Because of this 'process' is often overlooked. Often, management will choose the quickest solution opposed to better solutions that get better results, but might take longer or have higher initial cost, but that seems to be improving. Performance is largely based on metrics and adjusting those metrics to be more realistic is an arduous process, often resulting in no change. There is a rush to close sales on a monthly basis, as opposed to quarterly, creating stress during the last week of every month. For a technology company, many individuals don't really understand technology. There is no matching on 401(k) or significant education reimbursement, they believe that if you pursue additional education, that you will earn a better paying position within the organization. They will promote from within, but this often equates to a more lateral movement. To earn any raise to speak of, you have to perform exceptionally, bonuses are rare, and based on an award system, that only rewards a few individuals.

Pros

Great people to work with and for the most part a collaberative environment. Offices are nice and the area is great even with the distance from NYC.

Cons

Upper management needs to learn that they cant stand still or take a step back to try and grow. (The past got them this far, but as the company grows strategies need to change) They need to address challenges with new thought and ideas, even if those thoughts are not from the upper management.
