Pros
My manager trusted and provided space for autonomy where needed. We also worked together on projects and emergencies. It was very collaborative (as needed). I worked with some interesting and diverse people and attended many concerts and sporting events.
Cons
There is never any money in radio unless you are a high profile on air personality. The health benefits are inconsistent and troublesome to use. New hardware was tough to come by, and raises or cost of living adjustments were non-existent. We stopped having annual reviews for years.
