Pros

Good for an entry level job when youre first starting out. Able to get experience across several radio genres.

Cons

No growth opportunities locally atleast. I was told to stop asking for a raise after 10 years with company, making $1,100 a month. I was let go and replaced by the talk show hosts daughter. She changed her "title" on LinkedIn, literally within the hour that i was let go. Priority is syndication and national talent/ hosts/ shows etc.

Pros

Met artists when we were allowed or in the circle of higher ups

Cons

If you weren’t in the manager circle you were treated like a bottom feeder who didn’t get any credit.
