If you respect yourself, do not work for CC.

Pros

Free Food, drinks, tickets to concerts and events. There really isn't that much to say, it really is that bad.

Cons

Too many managers that never show up to work. Lack of communication and consistency. Managers are more worried about their own job and bottom line to care about a human life. Working the jobs of 3 people for half of one person's salary. Every CC station is a sinking ship. Get off now. Even if you are friendly with your boss and management, you will still get fired. The benefits are terrible.

Pros

Compensation opportunity is very high. You're working in the entertainment industry so you are able to meet/work with a lot of well known entertainers/celebrities. Most everyone employed is extremely experienced and are some of the best in their respective fields. They are the biggest company in their field and have a huge network.

Cons

The following is typical of a large company like Clear Channel that are driven for the bottom line. If you can't put up with an environment like this, I suggest you look into something else for a living. CC is a very large greedy corporation. It is very cutthroat industry. Upper management tends to be out of touch with their employees. They only look at the bottom line and don't consider all the other moving pieces. Everyone is encouraged to work as a team, but in reality everyone is out for each other's throats. Work/Life balance is terrible. People that consistently work hard/smart are not rewarded as much as people that get lucky or that brown nose management. They claim to be better than the competition, but are not much different than the other large companies they compete with. Morals/Ethics of some management are questionable at times.

Pros

Great employees who want to be a success, smart, creative people.

Cons

Corporate doesn't seem to notice/care about Minneapolis because we don't live in NY, LA, Tampa or Chicago.
