Pros

Very Few. The money is OK, but that's because I have a contract and a good lawyer.

Cons

NO recognition, NO leadership, NO appreciation, Employees are pitted against each other, benefits fade consistently, good people are laid off while mediocre people are retained. No incentive to do our best. Just marking time until something better comes along.

Pros

iHeart as a company is incredible. The mission, systems, and overall culture are exactly what many professionals dream of creative, fast-paced, and full of opportunity. On a corporate level, they truly have the structure and resources in place to help employees succeed.

Cons

Unfortunately, market level local & market leadership did not reflect the same professionalism or integrity that iHeart Corporate promotes. Despite being misled to believe they did. While SVP was based in another market, in house training depended on local employee for proper guidance to be given. Instead, I was repeatedly given incorrect information and “half-truths” — a pattern that could easily be described as gaslighting. When I raised concerns through email with my SVP and sought support, those issues were quietly brushed aside, told to the employee, and I was given excuses by the very individual who was supposed to address them privately and professionally. SVP, failed to respond to multiple emails asking for direction or clarity and retaliation was done to see me gone for addressing things that I was simply trying to understand. Generally terminated for "lack of" production, however TX unemployment reviewed documentation and evidence I kept; my claim was approved — confirming that leadership lack of "gossip" accountability was an issue, not my direct or lack of performance.

Pros

Good for rookies willing to work for a low salary to learn the industry.

Cons

Some PDs don’t know what they are doing and often blame IT and/or Engineering for their mistakes.
