Cons

There is very small room for growth or promotions. Salary is pitiful.

Clear Channel - Size Matters...To A Point

Pros

Clear Channel is a very large company and as such, it has the resources and the clout to make major changes in the industry.

Cons

Sadly, a lot of paper pushing and a LOT of financial waste occurs. Arbitrary, mandatory decisions are handed down from corporate to the station level seemingly without regard to cost or whether the decisions are right for every station. This puts employees in "cog mode," just doing what they are told without using their creativity or talent. There is also a lot of "spend the whole budget" mentality that results in un-needed or unwise spending. Also on several occasions, heritage formats have been thrown out in favor of "format du jour," casting aside a powerful brand for a temporary quick fix.
