Pros

Good money if you are part of the frat brothers group. Benefits. Free lunches.

Cons

You are told you are helping people out by saving them money on their car payment and interest rate (true), but you are also supposed to sell them GAP insurance and an extended warranty (even if they already have one). GAP insurance is something everyone with a car loan should have unless you are ballin rich and it doens't transfer loan to loan, easy sell. Selling someone a warranty during a refinance is not easy. Most salesmen just hope the customer is so excited by skipping a payment and the monthly savings that they will just sign away and not even notice what is going on. They would often say "Click click click" meaning when signing a digital contract that is how easy it was. Just "click click click" You really have to drink the kool-aid and believe their whole "we are doing this for the people" type of holier than now attitude. It is a business. They are doing it for money. Sure they help people out here and there, but at the end of the day it is about dollars and cents and as a loan consultant you are just a number.

Pros

- Good money if you are able to hit goal constantly - Always doing games/events with rewards and fun prizes - Will give you PTO when requested - Fast paced how hard you work determines how much you make - Nice office a lot of parking with good amenities - Fun office/holiday parties - Music played throughout the day - Work goes fast because you are busy in front of the computer - Titles team is strong and loan processors are moderate

Cons

***WARNING HIGH TURN OVER RATE FOR A REASON.*** -Worldwide investment firm bought out this company mid 2021 and they are flooding the sales floor so it looks good on paper. Paying less to employees and more for the company - They do NOT pay based on strictly gross they pay on hitting a goal or not which is thievery. If you don’t hit goal you make hourly and they pocket all the gross. - Two different pay plans - They allow veterans to submit their own deals and get paid higher. New loan consultants go through a bank team which is inexperienced and 3-4 hour turn around time to get apps to the lender for approval - 2 different pay plans at different rates is not a good look. - A TON of things out of your control that affect your paycheck drastically. They only pay you on what funds and their lenders take 3-5 days sometimes even more to fund loans at the end of the month. Very slow lenders which can be very frustrating. - A lot of favoritism and its evident from the managers you will feel left out until you are there for a year or more. - HR pushes covid-19 vaccine incredibly hard - They don’t actually care about loan consultants you are there to fill a seat and that seat can be replaced by the next applicant very easily. Always feels like you can lose your job at any time which isn’t a good feeling. -You will have to get used to being beat out by competitors as their rates are not that competitive. -They give false estimates in order to drag the customers in from lead sources. Most of the team managers are slow and you have to rely on them for pretty much everything. You are babied at this company and you are not a real financial loan consultant.
