Please don't apply if perks, snacks and extra holiday time are the factors you use to determine if your job is valuable. I've said this in my last response: In today's fast moving environment you cannot be afraid of change and you cannot expect the status quo to be good enough. Unless you work at Microsoft or Oracle we don't build software anymore, we build websites that allow users to access data and perform tasks. The old take a year to write a spec and then start building something is dead for most every competitive company. We live in a different time where hard work, creativity and thinking outside the box is the norm.
