Pros

Hybrid schedule Occasional free lunch That is all..

Cons

Our department does not get incentives for our work, they give us “opportunity to work OT” as a way to make more money whereas other department get bonuses and incentives. I feel like our department is somewhat non-existent with the company. No way to move up in the company. Stagnant.

Pros

Decent benefits Peer to peer support

Cons

If you enjoy having a major policy change with only two days notice, then this company may be for you. A new attendance policy was rolled out with only 2 days notice before it went into effect. There were multiple questions regarding the incomplete policy that took close to a month to get the answers. If you want to work for a soon to be billion dollar company that purposely tries to make achieving a bonus more difficult, then this may be the company for you. Similar to the attendance roll out , the new calculation for daily productivity went just as smooth. Upper management spent 30 min explaining the new method said they “researched it” and it would be a more “fair” method. Thus far, for those of us keeping track, it is not the case . So they either did not do their due diligence to pilot this or they flat out lied to their employees. This used to be a great place to work some years ago. The way things are currently going, it it obvious that upper management does not care about the techs cranking out these scans. Most up them don’t even know how to read an ekg. If you enjoy working for a company that is all about profit and keeps the medical aspect as a means of marketing, this may be the place for you.

Pros

Decent schedule options Forced OT has ceased

Cons

This company has become increasingly strict and stressful for lower level employees. Expectations are often unrealistic, and the “click track” system creates unnecessary pressure. Many rhythm interpretations are subjective, especially when working as a single lead monitor, yet management treats them as black and white. Although we are not diagnosticians, we are often held to diagnostic standards. Team assignments can change suddenly without notice or input, sometimes resulting in additional responsibilities with no pay increase. Management and coaching structures are inconsistent, many managers oversee large teams without the proper experience, and coaches vary widely in approach and quality. Daily “huddles” feel redundant and add to the micromanagement culture. Upper management is disconnected from the work techs actually do. Many could not perform the job themselves, yet they frequently reprimand employees for minor errors while demanding perfection. Speaking up about concerns often leads to retaliation. Company meetings have lost transparency. Anonymous questions are now filtered, reworded, or ignored entirely. Overall, the company appears more focused on profit and image than on employee well being or patient care. Their initiatives to “set us apart” often create unnecessary stress and potential legal risks rather than genuine improvement.
