      Pros

      Really strong family/team atmosphere. Compensation was decent, my manager was great.

      Cons

      Management does not deal with slackers - at. all. Instead they get rid of people they don't like and don't fire people that should have been gone long ago - who contribute nothing and even create a hostile environment.

      Pros

      ifm manufacturers some of the best sensors and controls in the industry. The employees at ifm create a true family atmosphere. Continual safe growth High level of job security Benefits are on par with the industry

      Cons

      The majority of the mid to upper management team have not worked outside of this organization, resulting in a lack of perspective when it comes to the 'reality' that employees and customers have to deal with on a day-to-day basis. Professional development is not encouraged, in fact, professional development is discouraged in some departments. Under performers are not encouraged to increase performance, nor are they ever removed from their positions. Compensation is very low compared to the industry, merit increases are not common / if ever. given.
