Highly Intelligent Team with Very Little Control Over Work

Pros

There is so much the company has going for it when it comes to vision, product and talent. A truly global org makes working with an international team very interesting and dynamic. Perks are good.

Cons

The C-Suite does not trust its employees to get their jobs done or makes getting work done impossible by setting super unrealistic goals. Often projects are mid-way to completion and need to be halted suddenly to start a new initiative that the founder thought of over-night. Everyone has to drop everything to see to his every whim. A lot of work is blocked due to leadership's need to oversee every decision.
