Pros

None really. No pros whatsoever.

Cons

About as crazy a workplace as you could imagine. CEO governs through constant threats that you will lose your job. Nobody wants to work here after they have been at the company, so there is constant hiring and replacement. The product is obsolete and the company is struggling as other companies use generative AI while interface's legacy NLP struggles to do it's job. They had a lot of success as small banks struggled to staff during and after covid, but that phase is long gone now. Expectations have gone up with chatGPT and this company's AI is still just talk.

Pros

AI is a exciting space and top of funnel meetings are easy to generate. You'll be surrounded by smart people and it does pay well.

Cons

I worked at interface.ai and my experience was extremely negative. The leadership is toxic and the product is underwhelming. The CEO's leadership style was the most concerning - he has back office employees spying on other employees while reporting back what is said, who is online, and anything that might suggest they are not doing their job correctly or to the his expectations. He has no respect for work-life balance and will expect you be available whenever he is whether that is during working hours or not. It's not uncommon for him to ask employees to join calls late at night or over the weekend. He's created a culture of fear while consistently belittling employees publicly, never expect him to take blame. From a product standpoint, the AI isn't where they say and requires a lot of manually effort on the backend. Many active customers have rigid experiences as a result which is consistently noted by prospects when they are doing their own due diligence. The low customer satisfaction rating made new logo acquisition incredibly difficult. Lastly, the turnover and retention is terrible at all levels. A number of leaders in Product, Sales and Marketing started and quit or fired within weeks of starting. The culture is extremely unhealthy and multiple employees shared it affected their mental health outside of work. When the company needs to pay for positive publicity, it's a red flag. The CEO will do anything to make him look good whether it's changing the company name, creating a new glassdoor page or bullying employees to remove negative reviews/post fake positive reviews. Avoid this company at all costs!

Pros

Everyone works hard and are smart, but are brow-beaten from CEO. Customers are good people. Does pay well.

Cons

I worked at Interface.ai, and my experience was overwhelmingly negative due to the company’s leadership and product shortcomings. The CEO’s leadership style is highly controlling, with a tendency to micromanage and belittle employees rather than empower them. Constructive feedback is rare, and instead, a culture of fear and blame dominates, leading to high stress and burnout. Many employees leave without another job lined up simply to escape the toxic environment. From a product standpoint, Interface.ai markets itself as an AI-driven solution, but in reality, the technology lacks true innovation. The AI must be manually spoon-fed responses, making it more of a rigid chatbot than a learning system. Customers often express frustration due to the lack of meaningful reporting, which makes it difficult to measure ROI. Unsurprisingly, customer satisfaction is low. The company also struggles with retention, with constant turnover at all levels. The demands placed on employees are extreme, yet appreciation and support are minimal. Overall, this is not a sustainable or healthy workplace for long-term career growth. CEO pays for Forbes articles and alike to come out to make him look good. He also has created many Glassdoor pages or changes name of the company due to how many negative reviews come on board, never accepts fault and always blames employees for the feedback vs taking ownership.
