Pros

- You like being sad: Every day spent here crushed my soul and enthusiasm. I didn’t listen to warnings shared during the interview process, which I deeply regret. - You like transparency: In my experience, leadership often publicly criticized people in front of their peers and teams, so you don’t have to worry about what’s being said behind your back. - You don’t want to hurt your resume: Most people I observed left this company very quickly (either voluntarily or involuntarily), so you likely can just leave this company off your resume and no one will notice the brief gap. - You don’t like to take accountability: Leadership often avoids responsibility for their decisions and shifts blame when things go wrong. I felt gaslit almost every day. - You just need a paycheck while looking for a sustainable job: If you just need a paycheck while you look for your next job, it’s a good one. This company and product has so much promise, it was sad for me to see so many good people leave.

Cons

- Senior leadership, in my experience, was the least tenured and least capable I’ve worked with. They have little regard for the careers, development, or wellbeing of those who have left good jobs to come here. It was deeply saddening and frustrating to watch. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone in my network. - The mental fatigue this company created for me was incomparable. It was a truly terrible experience, and I regret giving this company any of my time and talents.

Pros

• Fantastic exposure to enterprise SaaS sales in the banking and credit union sector — customers are genuinely excited about the product and open to renewals and upselling. • Steep learning curve; I’ve grown significantly in understanding client relationship management and enterprise deal cycles. • Leadership is approachable, and despite being a startup, the vision is clear and motivating. • After coming from chaotic startups, the culture here feels like a breath of fresh air — collaborative, supportive, and customer-focused.

Cons

• Onboarding could be more structured. A lot of the learning happens on the fly, which can be challenging for someone new to the industry. Company is working on a playbooks initiative which is helping the cause here. • Processes are still evolving as the company scales; expect some ambiguity at times.

Pros

- Unparalleled Exposure to Chaos: If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to work in a dystopian nightmare, look no further. The leadership will provide you with endless stories of dysfunction and irrational decision-making to share at future job interviews. - High-Intensity Drama Training: Who needs reality TV when your workplace provides daily doses of melodrama, screaming matches, and public humiliation and abuses? You’ll develop a thick skin and a newfound appreciation for calm environments. - Involuntary Self-Discovery: Want to find out how much stress a human can take before breaking? The CEO’s relentless blame game and gaslighting tactics will help you uncover new limits of your own mental endurance. - Elite Problem-Solving Skills: Navigating a minefield of ever-changing priorities and irrational demands is a skill you never knew you needed. You’ll master working with zero guidance while still being blamed for everything that goes wrong. - Investor Entertainment Package: Watch in awe as the CEO spins fantasies for investors while conveniently omitting the crumbling reality behind the scenes. It’s like watching a magic show where the trick is hiding incompetence.

Cons

- CEO is a Walking Red Flag: The leadership is driven purely by ego, delusion, abuses in public, and paranoia. The CEO’s actions are unpredictable, often punitive, and entirely disconnected from reality. Expect a hostile work environment that constantly tests your sanity. Expect calls at any time of the day or night! - Gaslighting as a Management Style: If something goes wrong, prepare to be accused of causing it, even if you weren’t involved. The CEO excels in creating alternate realities where everyone else is the problem. - Toxicity is the Only Consistency: While everything else changes at the drop of a hat, one thing remains constant: the pervasive negativity, backstabbing, and complete disregard for employee well-being. - High Turnover - Wonder Why?: It’s no surprise that people leave within months. The revolving door of employees is seen as a normal part of the company culture, rather than a sign of deep-rooted issues. - Investors Are Clueless: The CEO is adept at presenting a polished but misleading version of the company’s health. Investors are systematically misled about internal issues, employee dissatisfaction, and targets. - Burnout Guaranteed: Long hours, zero support, and unrealistic expectations are the norm. You’ll be pushed to your breaking point while being told you’re not doing enough. Mental and physical health take a nosedive here. - No Respect, No Growth: Constructive feedback doesn’t exist, not even a bit. The only feedback loop here is one where you’re constantly told how incompetent you are, regardless of your actual contributions.
