Pros

Strong brand and global reach — your work is seen by millions. Talented creative team with lots of smart, kind people. Good benefits and perks (ESPP, RRSP match, etc.). Opportunities to learn

Cons

Leadership can be inconsistent vision shifts often, leaving design teams scrambling. Feedback culture is uneven: some managers are supportive, others undermine or micromanage. Career growth feels limited unless you’re willing to play politics. Workload can be heavy, with tight deadlines and sudden “urgent” requests. Pay is decent for Vancouver, but not competitive compared to US tech or design roles.

Toxic work environment

Pros

Employee discount was okay, but still does not make products affordable considering the high prices.

Cons

Managers are toxic, unprofessional and only care about money. Lots of talk during training about how much they care about employee wellness and fostering a fun, safe environment, but none of it translated into the actual work. Unless you are lucky enough to be one of the favourites, you will be treated like a disposable object.
