Company Culture vs Job Satisfaction

Pros

The culture of leadership and community is incredible! It's great to feel as though the company cares for all of its stakeholders.

Cons

It is very competitive, as in there are too many people and too little positions. Also, being educated won't get you anywhere; you must work from the bottom to the top (no leap frog).

Pros

I've worked over the holiday season at lulu for the past two years. Management is amazing, co-workers are super fun and I feel I'm my healthiest when I'm working at lulu because everyone is super into working out and "sweating together" though there isn't pressure to do so. The discount is great and a huge perk. Commission is great. And reimbursed workout classes is another huge perk. Honestly I'm always really happy when I'm working at lulu--there is so much positive energy and it's a lot of fun. You really buy into the lifestyle and I loved it (healthy/happy what's not to love?)Probably the best retail job I could imagine especially. Customers are mostly great and coworkers are amazing!

Cons

Sometimes it can be boring (monotonous folding) if the store isn't busy.

Pros

Not only do you get to wear great clothes, but you work with great people, you're treated extremely well (health-wise and oppportunity-wise) and learn a great deal of functions pertaining to the 'backroom' functions of global retail. People potential development is a huge focus, and the company (and their practices) prove to provide an abundance of resources to foster that development. From operations, to management training, to product design/merchandising, you get exposure to it all. Just ask, and speak up and you'll have an opportunity to connect and grow into the more advanced corporate functions of the company.

Cons

Your entire life becomes lululemon (although it's not necessarily a bad thing)
