Culture, team, benefits, flexibility... those are exactly what we want people to experience, and we're glad they're showing up for you. On compensation and promotions: we hear you, and we take that feedback seriously. Thanks for taking the time to share it!

Thank you for the feedback. Our culture is something we invest in intentionally, we are so glad to hear it is landing! On compensation, we hear you. Our goal is to be at market and we know that's an ongoing conversation worth having. On benefits: We did move to a cost-sharing model on health insurance and HSA contributions, and we understand that shift is meaningful to people. When making this change we ensured we were still ahead of other companies in both cost-sharing and services covered... We take benefits seriously and that won't change! Thank you again for taking the time!

Pros

- Incredible culture. I have never worked with someone I don't like. - Nice office. I live nearby and enjoy coming in. Fridays are remote. - SOME of the restructuring is fine. More small teams are better than fewer large teams. Its good that we don't hyper fixate on agile and scrum anymore. The jargon was pretty annoying.

Cons

- Layoffs. Its expected to happen every 6-12 months. The frequency of it kills morale and puts everyone on edge. Realistically, cutting fat is healthy for companies, but the issue here is unpredictability. People are nervous about the company taking a shotgun approach or doing something counterproductive. - Salary. Way below market rate. If I didn't really like Wilmington I'd dip. - Transparency. I wish leadership would speak more clearly about company objectives and challenges. You can tell when they're trying to be obscure when they let it rip with the buzzwords and corporate jargon. - More communication TO engineers about what is going on outside of engineering. A general idea of achievements and challenges on the sales side of things, for example, is great information. I don't want to sit in their meetings, but a general understanding is good knowledge to have. This is improving a bit, which is nice.

Thank you for taking the time to share this so honestly. Hearing that the culture and the people are genuinely good is something we never tire of reading. That doesn't happen by accident and we work hard to protect it! On workforce decisions: decisions about our team are made carefully and with intention, not as a recurring playbook. That feedback is noted. On compensation: our goal is to be at market always - but we hear your feedback! On cross-functional visibility: we're glad to hear it's improving. Getting engineers closer to the full picture of how the business is performing, not just what's in their queue, is something we believe makes better engineers and a better product. And on AI: you said it well. We're learning alongside our teams on this one. The hype is loud and the nuance matters. We appreciate the grounded perspective.
