Pros

Unless you enjoy being yelled at for no reason. There is nothing good here. If you do decide to come onboard, expect that you will be thrown a client at you and the management will expect you to be an expert on their infrastructure without giving any instruction or training.

Cons

The management here is messed up. They expect you to work 24/7 (on-call rotation) and take responsibility for tasks that you have no instruction or training on. This position's base salary is 50k and in order to qualify for the monthly bonus of $500, they expect you to work a minimum of 180 hours. Honestly, this base salary is below the minimum wage for cybersecurity, you do not need a degree or any certificate to earn 50k and get yelled at on things that you were not trained on. Also, the management here does not know anything on the technical side and takes everything personally. In fact, it is a micromanagement style that literally digs into who you talked to after work or anything non-work related. Do not even think about using the benefits here, the management will decline your PTO/sick days request with no explanation. Overall, terrible pay, unusable benefits, horrible management, and expect you to work like slaves.

At onShore, we work diligently in cultivating an open dialog with employees at all levels on how we can improve the working environment. The CEO has an open-door policy for all staff to speak about anything related to the business from company financials, strategy, resource improvements, or to geek out on the technology landscape. He also encourages that for all of management. We do have an on-call rotation across our Engineering, Security Analyst, and System Admin teams. Anyone working in the technology field understands the need to address internal and client emergencies. Usually, employees work standard business hours; when employees get escalations, project deployment assignments, or prepare for certification, employees receive additional compensation. onShore has a 30-year history of innovating technology and strong ties to the open-source community. As a highly technical company, we realize that everyone isn't a good fit. We wish all of our onShorians past and present nothing but the best in their future endeavors.

Pros

onShore offers the ability to expand your skillset by touching various technologies. The employees are really smart and willing to teach if you put in the work in laying the foundation to build upon.

Cons

wages are slightly below the market, but the trade-off is the remote environment and opportunities for bonuses.

Pros

NOTHING GOOD IN HERE. Senior administration does not have any focus or goals beside PROFIT. they treat human alike a ANIMALS. Stay away . if you don't believe me, see their reviews and ask their new employees. Their end clients are also cheap and not human.

Cons

ALL BAD HERE. its Human's Animal's ZOO. they are looking for employees who start with minimum wage. and suck out your blood and want you to work 24/7. Senior management has no goals, and they do not know anything about cyber security but they ask questions like a pro. 100% of employees are unhappy to work here, STAY AWAY AND RUN FROM THIS COMPANY.
