Management is easy to talk to. Salaries are fair, especially given the fact we live in a low cost area of the country.

Cons

They "have" you because they're the only semiconductor game in town, and most people don't want to move away.

Known for laying people off. Engineers are over worked and expected to perform many more roles and handle much more product than at other semiconductor companies.

People are generally very knowledge and helpful. Work hours are flexible. Career paths and grades are very well defined. Managers are generally very flexible and very attentive to employee needs.

Cons

Bonus is very minimal. Promotions are very biased, it depends on your relationships with others. Cafeteria food is ridiculous. Working hours are very long.
