Theoretically straightforward work, short shifts.

Cons

Everyone constantly had something to say about eachother, nothing got stocked in time, always so much back stock filling the back room to the point of struggling to accept truck. All anyone was worried about whatever he/she said about themselves or anyone else.

Pros

Merchandising is fun, and the store itself is fun to keep up with and organize. Pay is good for the job.

Cons

Management, especially District are very unprofessional and pack on more work when there’s already so much to do. They hire externally most of the time so it’s hard for anyone to move up, and when they do hire people externally the turnover rate is out the roof because the managers don’t know how to manage people or create a team. Usually WAY too much inventory coming in the truck full of stuff the store doesn’t need. Customers get very confused about the self checkout so someone always needs to be standing up front, most of the time customers would be LIVID if they had to check out their own stuff.
