Somehow you get zero autonomy and zero support simultaneously. You'll be told to "act like an owner," which is really just gaslighting you into having zero work-life balance. Management is expected to bridge the very wide gap between the amount hourly staff they want you to have and what you actually need. No opportunity for development once you're in the general manager level, and they don't put much value in "non-sweetgreen" experience. They pay near minimum wage for hourly employees and wonder why retention is down. Below average benefits for in-unit personnel.
