Pros
- Flexible, WFH. - Put in the effort to show that you are committed to the company and have an outstanding work ethic, and you will be rewarded with massive career advancements. - Good benefits, bonus structure, and salary. - Very high-paced, there is always something going on or new to learn so you are never bored. - Given opportunities I never thought I would have that have allowed me to challenge myself, learn new skills, and set myself up for future success in my career anywhere. - Allows for great collaboration between teams, as long as you reach out most are willing to befriend you and work with you. - Great sense of purpose as you improve the product in it's current bugs and introduce new features to the masses.
Cons
- As with any Senior position, sometimes struggle with Work/Life Balance due to work load and time zone issues explained below. - Frequent time zone issues as the company operates in Pacific time, Arizona time, Central time, Eastern US time, UK time, Ireland time, and Lithuania time for it's developers, support teams, and many other teams. - Sometimes pushes out new products that are rushed and have bugs in them, then prefer to add new features rather than fixing those bugs. - Sometimes hard to keep up with all of the constant changes, which again leads to point 1.
