Great atmosphere to work. Great interview and training methods. A good customer service learning experience. Hours worked out great and other employees and management were easy to get along with.

Cons

No real downside to working here. Had a great experience.

This is for LEGO Brand Retail Stores

Pros

Great company with a solid framework of values and promises. There are some amazing people who work for this company. Good Bonus structure - when it doesn't keep changing. The kids are fun and energizing.

Cons

The promises are lost in Brand Retail store operations. They talk up the benefits of tuition reimbursement only to have to get a higher up's approval and be told it was declined for reasons such as "other directors do not have a degree, so it's not necessary" or "it's just not in the budget". They want you to better yourself and talk a good game about it, but honestly do not support it. They often implement changes without fully thinking it through and determining if it is the right course. There's little room for advancement unless you want to move cross country, on your own dime.

Pros

Great Brand, nice colleagues, fun atmosphere, ITS TOYS

Cons

Very lean company with low base salary for the work expectation. Bonuses are good, but are not guaranteed. If your salary, be prepared to work long hours with poor work-life balance. If you try to complain, you will be added to the "no advance LEGO list" Politics drive the company, if your not in the "good old boys circle" don't expect to advance into Sr.Roles. LEGO is a male driven company, senior leadership is made up of only white males. Very poor diversification, again " white male dominated company" They select only hand picked white women to advance, just to try to show they are improving on gender equality. No loyalty to employees. They don't mind letting people go who have dedicated many years to the company only to bring in a young college student.
