Specific about the GM/Owner:
- Will watch you from the cameras.
- Has persistently tried to get staff to come in despite them recently testing positive for COVID and providing their results.
- Has expressed doubt that some staff were being truthful when claiming that they were feeling unwell (for COVID or other illnesses).
- Will become distracted, unresponsive, and absent for weeks at a time.
- Talks poorly about the coaches to other coaches/staff and in front of students.
- May ask you to come over to her house and tutor her children in different subjects.
- Said we should be happy that we are not working at "dirty" part-time jobs like fast food during MULTIPLE staff meetings.
- Has called staff "toxic" and "unprofessional" when she was told that our pay was no longer competitive in the area (a majority of coaches were still being paid at $15).
- Has no background in tech beyond recruiting. (e.g. Was upset because she thought coaches who knew how to teach python should already know how to use pygame).
- Beware that she is also opening a TCS in Redondo Beach.
Warning to "interns":
You do almost the same exact work as the other coaches but are unpaid.
