Pros

I love working here, it’s incredible to be able to contribute to building the next generation of engineers. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Cons

It’s less a con and more a requirement: you need to love teaching as that’s what you’re doing first and foremost. If you don’t love teaching (or working with kids) this isn’t the right job for you.

Pros

Our supervisor was kind enough to prepare us Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, delivered to us over the holidays. That shows the level of commitment the Berkeley branch has been in keeping their employees happy!

Cons

You will be working with children, you will learn about patience, you will find your students lost in understanding coding concepts -- this stuff is difficult to explain to adults, nonetheless children. But survive the hurdle, and you will learn to explain data structures to anyone.
