Recently, the A-Gas Rapid Recovery team in the Americas hit a significant environmental milestone: recovering over 3,300 lbs of R410A refrigerant during the decommissioning of 222 cooling units across five buildings at a major data centre. By doing this safely and compliantly, we not only prevented the potentially harmful release of gases to the atmosphere but also reinforced our commitment to lifecycle refrigerant management. Andrew's work means that data is now more automated in lots of areas, making the process more efficient for all using it, as well as making the data centralised and easy to access.
