We are honored to introduce Camp Willow's Light, our pediatric and family grief camp designed for children and families who have lost a loved one within the past three years. Named in memory of our pediatric patient, Willow "brought light, laughter, and love to all who knew her. Her smile was contagious, her spirit unbreakable...her light shines on." Created by Child Life Specialists and made possible through the Carnation Foundation, the camp serves children ages 5-18 and their parent or caregiver. Meet Carlos, one of our compassionate hospice chaplains. His calling is rooted in faith, service, and empathy. During Pastoral Care Week, he shares his testimony with us: “I chose hospice chaplaincy because it allows me to walk with people at one of the most sacred times of life—when every moment matters. It is an honor to offer comfort, hope, and the presence of God to patients and families as they face life’s final chapter.
