Today we celebrate the five-year anniversary of Global Medical Response. Although GMR is celebrating its fifth year, the companies that make up the GMR family bring decades of experience delivering medical transportation, mobile medic and federal services to communities across the country. GMR Therapy Dog Team is excited to announce the newest member, Zulu a 4 month-old Goldendoodle who will call AirMed International of Birmingham, AL his home. Zulu has started his training and his paws will get to visit team members of Lifeguard Ambulance and other operations in Detroit, Toronto, and San Antonio. This little guy will visit his community as we partner with UAB Hospital and Children’s Birmingham. Welcome Zulu.
The GMR Foundation for Research and Education is offering its Institutional Scholarship Grant for the 2023-2024 academic year. The grant is available to EMS training schools to apply for student scholarship funding.
