At the Penn College of Technology’s donor recognition event, College President Dr. Davie Jane Gilmour recognized Acero Precision as a new member of the Visionary Society. The Visionary Society is for donations between $100,000 and $499,999 and was achieved with the donation to the college of two STAR CNC Swiss Machine Centers. The machines will be used by Penn College Faculty to introduce the students to the principles of swiss-type machining and give them valuable experience in this area. Acero has a long relationship with Penn College and has hired several graduates of the program.
