The Med/Surg Unit at AHN Forbes Hospital is all about supporting each other and helping each other thrive. The 3T Rehab Unit at AHN West Penn Hospital prides itself on the support they give each other every day. "It's just a very supportive working environment," said Ronna P., registered nurse on the West Penn Rehab Unit. "There's a really great crew on 3T and you can approach anybody, including our managers, and ask them anything." When Ronna says anybody on the unit, she means anybody. "You can even stop one of the doctors in the hallway and ask them anything. There are no snide remarks. There are no sighs. If you don't know something, it's OK." Through her own experience, Ronna knows that kind of culture is hard to find. "I can name quite a few other places where God help you if you don't know something," Ronna said.
