At the beginning of the shelter-in-place orders in Los Angeles, she started a neighborhood grocery run for a few of her senior neighbors who are unable to drive or leave their homes by setting up online deliveries and delivering what she can herself (while practicing social distancing). This act of kindness during a challenging time has brought her community together. Thank you for all you do, Ida.

Growing up in a mountain town in Puerto Rico, graduating college was the privilege of few at the time.
