As this week kicked off the 2022 Midterm Elections, members of the Amyris Legal Team’s community outreach initiative (Amyris Legal Gives Back) visited Richmond High School to present on the U.S. Electoral College in three different 10th and 11th grade history classes. The Legal Team members were joined by a Northwestern University law student extern, who gave a thrilling account of his grassroots efforts in getting out the vote within his own East Asian Muslim community. The Legal Team values the opportunity to contribute to our local communities, focusing on education and civic engagement. We hope that this week, we helped inspire the next generation of voters to stay active in our democracy.
