The first day of NMHC's 2026 Annual Meeting was abuzz with activity. Attendees rolled into the ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas for the opening reception, kicking off one of multifamily's most influential conferences.
Arbor had their 18th Annual Holiday Drive in December, during which our employees and community members collectively donated nearly $22,000 to Long Island-based Family & Children's Association’s (FCA) Nassau Haven Shelter. This record-breaking total includes Arbor’s dollar‑for‑dollar match of all donations. Nassau Haven is a gender-inclusive, emergency shelter for youth ages 10 to 20, providing short-term housing, case management, and crisis intervention to runaway and homeless youth in Nassau County. In addition to directly supporting Nassau Haven’s operations and services, the donations funded the creation of welcome kits for the shelter’s youth. Did you know 47 million people in the U.S. face food insecurity – experiencing hunger and its health and social impacts? Once again this year, Arbor’s Buffalo office partnered with FeedMore WNY, a member of Feeding America and one of the largest food banks serving Western New York, for its Holiday Food Drive. Our team donated hundreds of items, including boxes of pasta, canned vegetables, and oatmeal containers. Learn more about FeedMore WNY’s work: https://lnkd.in/gKhA6Qv

Arbor employees recently spent the day volunteering at the Claremont Consolidate Community with She Builds and Rebuilding Together NYC in the Bronx, NY, helping to repaint playgrounds, plant flowers, fix equipment, and other beautification and improvement efforts. She Builds, a committee of Rebuilding Together NYC, is a group of women leaders in New York City real estate who come together with one mission — to create change through community revitalization projects throughout New York City. Thank you to both organizations for allowing us to participate in this vital community event during a time of year when giving back is particularly meaningful.
Six Arbor employees recently spent the day volunteering at the Mary Brennan INN Soup Kitchen in Hempstead, NY, helping prepare and serve lunch to hundreds of people. The INN is a Long Island-based non-profit that has provided essential services to assist those challenged by hunger, homelessness, and profound poverty for 40 years. Thank you to the INN for opening your doors to our participation and for the tireless services you provide for this community.
