During the holiday season, we were honored to support the NABC Recycled Rides Program by gifting a refurbished vehicle to Vietnam War and retired U.S. Air Force veteran Mark Knowlton, in partnership with American Family Insurance and Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin. The Boyd Group is proud to recognize the efforts of our Gerber Collision & Glass Houston Ryewater team, who recently participated in gifting a refurbished vehicle to U.S. Air Force veteran Laura McFarlane. This meaningful event was held during the grand opening of the new Gerber location, in partnership with the National Auto Body Council’s (NABC) Recycled Rides® Program. Laura served in the Air Force from 2007–2017 and now cares full-time for her mother, who is battling cancer, while working retail. Having reliable transportation allows her to travel to work and ensure her mother never misses a doctor’s appointment. We thank all our team members and partners who came together to make this moment possible. Giving back to our communities is at the heart of the Boyd Group’s mission.

We’re pleased to share that Brian Kaner has been appointed President and CEO of The Boyd Group, effective immediately. Brian brings deep industry expertise and a strong focus on performance and growth. He previously served as President and COO, and now succeeds Tim O’Day, who is retiring after leading as CEO from 2020 to 2025 and serving the company for over 27 years. Tim will remain in an advisory role through the end of the year. “We’re ready to build on our momentum with the right people in the right roles,” said Brian. “I’m honored to lead The Boyd Group into its next chapter and grateful to Tim for his outstanding leadership.” With Brian at the helm, we remain focused on delivering value to our customers, shareholders, and most importantly, the talented team members who power our success across North America.
