Essex on the Park, located on Michigan Avenue in Chicago's South Loop, recently received its WELL Certification, making it the first WELL-certified residential building in Illinois. The designation comes from the International WELL Building Institute, which focuses on seven categories surrounding the health and well-being of people who live or work in the building.
