Brinkmann Constructors has promoted Nikki MacDonald to Controller. In her new role, she is responsible for supervising all the accounting activities and processes within Brinkmann Constructors. “Nikki has played a critical role in growing and managing the department and she truly leads by example,” says Jennifer Funk, Vice President of Finance, “She has always taken on new challenges with a positive, ‘we can do this’ attitude.” MacDonald joined Brinkmann in 2007 as an Accounts Payable Specialist, and subsequently advanced through the ranks to be promoted to Controller.
Brinkmann Constructors has promoted Bob Swacil to Senior Project Manager. Swacil started with Brinkmann in 2006 as a Project Engineer and has worked on a variety of projects over his tenure. Swacil most recently managed the construction of three hotels in Chesterfield, Missouri. He gained extensive expertise in the hospitality market while fostering and cultivating relationships leading to four more hotel projects currently under construction. “Bobby continues to exhibit the Brinkmann Way in taking full ownership of all aspects of a project from the moment he gets involved and always looking for the best right answer for our clients,” says Ted Hoog, Vice President of Operations. Swacil earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Missouri University of Science & Technology and is a LEED Accredited Professional with an emphasis in Building Design + Construction.
