Exciting news! On Oct. 15 at 4:06 p.m. PT, SpaceX successfully launched the Space Development Agency’s Tranche 1 data transport mission from Vandenberg Space Force Base. Each of the 21 Lockheed Martin satellites onboard carries a CACI optical communications terminal, enabling secure, resilient data transfer across low-Earth orbit. Team CACI is proud to support this critical mission with our low-risk, American-made technology.

This next-generation SIGINT/EW/IO weapon system will now receive new Spectral Enabling Kits (SEKs), bringing even greater functionality and resilience to the fleet in today’s rapidly evolving threat environment. Our proven, software-defined, modular solutions — enhanced with AI — enable faster, over-the-air updates, ensuring the Navy can adapt swiftly and avoid vendor lock-in. This award demonstrates both the Navy’s commitment to converging future capabilities and CACI’s ability to deliver proven, positive enhancements that protect our nation’s sailors from emerging threats.
