After recently completing a quarterly review by federal quality experts, one of the regular CMS requirements for home health agencies, CHSGa Home Health of Vidalia has received a five-star ranking in Patient Satisfaction. CMS maintains oversight for compliance with the Medicare health and safety standards for continuing care providers, including home health agencies and other facilities who serve Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries. According to medicare.gov, “The patient survey asks patients (or their family or friends) about their home health care, and if they would recommend that agency to someone else. The survey ratings can be used to compare home health agencies using a 5-star scale, with more stars indicating better quality care.” Although CHSGa Home Health has already achieved an impressive record of accomplishment including two state and national satisfaction awards and a Deficiency-free CMS survey, the Vidalia team is particularly proud of their standing and reputation among their patients. Congratulations, team, on this outstanding achievement!
