In nominating Melanie, LPN Staff Nurse Caitlin Brown wrote, "She is great at communicating needs for patients... She has a great relationship with all the families. Through scholarship programs, Care Dimensions encourages employees to advance their education through the pursuit of career-related degrees. We have 6 scholarship recipients this year, each of them receiving up to $3,000 to offset expenses. Congratulations to Hospice Aide Kate Camargo (top center), LPN Staff Nurse Jodie Donovan (top right), and Senior Hospice Aide Summie Mwai (bottom right), who were recipients of the Mary Tilly Scholarship, which is named after a former LPN Staff Nurse who worked at Care Dimensions for nearly 13 years. Recipients are pursuing degrees to become either an LPN or RN. Those awarded support from the Care Dimensions Scholarship Fund: Music Therapist Katie Bagley (top left), RN Case Manager Jasmine Lafortune (bottom left), and Research Project Manager Morgan Murphy (bottom center). Congratulations to recent Spotlight Award winner, RN Case Manager Irene Chege. Irene was nominated after her care team received a glowing note from the Director of Nursing at a local assisted living community where she and the rest of her team support hospice patients. Irene specifically was complimented on her "professionalism, kindness, and care for our residents." See link for info about ways we support our employees.

Our music therapy team just got a big boost from a $10,000 grant awarded by ACM Lifting Lives, the philanthropic partner of the Academy of Country Music! Care Dimensions was one of a handful of organizations selected from about 150 grant applicants from across the nation. The grant reviewers were impressed with the deep and demonstrated therapeutic value of the clinical music therapy services Care Dimensions offers to patients with dementia.
