Nov 6, 2024: Catholic Guardian Services, in partnership with New York City’s Administration for Children's Services, is proud to announce the opening of the Fordham/University Heights Family Enrichment Center (FEC). This new community resource is free of charge to join. It is designed to be a warm, inviting, and home-like space where families and neighbors can connect, share resources, and build strong community ties. While this FEC is new, the services it provides are tried and true, tested and perfected in communities all over New York City – and now, in the Fordham/University Heights community.

May 24, 2024: CGS had the privilege of being highlighted in three on-air segments on WPIX’s “New York Living” show. Anchors Marysol Castro and Alex Lee interviewed CGS staff, including Fabiola Toribio, LMSW, MS, our Assistant Executive Director of Family Permanency, Peter Trivisonno, our Director of Clinical Services & Strategic Initiatives at the CGS Family Counseling and Wellness Center. Peter and other CGS representatives discussed the vital mental health services we provide for families in The Bronx, the support and resources available for expectant mothers at our Parenting Resource Center, and the rewarding process of becoming a foster parent with CGS — the first family foster care agency in the United States. We’re proud to share our story and our mission to serve and uplift our community!
