Florida Public Utilities Company (FPU) business unit was proud to serve as the title sponsor of this year’s Health and Safety Expo at the YMCA in Wildlight, Florida. More than 300 community members attended the event for free health screenings, resources and family-friendly activities focused on building a safer, healthier community. FPU team members were on-site throughout the day, connecting with attendees, answering questions, sharing safety and energy service information and even helping with parking and traffic flow to keep the event running smoothly. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support events like this that make a meaningful difference in the communities we serve.

Reliable electric service doesn’t happen by accident. When outages occur, our lineworkers are among the first responders — restoring power safely, day or night, in any weather. On National Lineworker Appreciation Day, we’re proud to recognize our Florida Public Utilities Company lineworkers for their dedication to the communities where they live and serve.
Leadership led the way during our inaugural Chesapeake Impact Days. The week kicked off at the Barnabas Center in Nassau County, Florida, where members of our senior leadership team stepped away from daily operations to serve hands‑on and set the tone for giving back. That example echoed across our Company, inspiring more than 200 employees to take part in 30+ volunteer events throughout our service territories. From leaders to frontline teams, Impact Days brought our commitment to community to life — and this is just the beginning.
