To some, banking is dollars in, dollars out. But Citizens is so much more. We’re rooted in the neighborhood and are invested in helping tomorrow’s LGBTQ+ workforce meet ever-accelerating needs. Together with our partners, we’re making meaningful progress through hard work, innovation, and teamwork. We proudly support Out in Finance (OIF), an organization driven to advance inclusion and equality across financial services, aid in recruiting efforts, and provide a networking forum for LGBTQ+ professionals. We also partner with Out for Undergrad, which helps high-achieving LGBTQ+ undergraduates reach their full potential. Through our partnership, we expose undergrads to Citizens internships that kick-off new careers in a caring and inclusive environment.
It’s Pride Month! And we can’t think of a better way to show support for our LGBTQ+ colleagues than celebrating their freedom to live openly and with dignity. Calling all marketers! We’re honored to receive two prestigious marketing industry awards. The Living Portrait of NYC presented by Citizens won a bronze Clio Award in the “Immersive/New Realities” category and a gold REGGIE Award in the “Local, Regional or Market Specific Marketing” category for our immersive experience, commemorating our entrance to the New York City market. Our Chief Experience Officer, Beth Johnson, said “Our goal is to celebrate and entertain by providing research and the true voices of New York and bringing together dancers, musicians, comedians, and artists – and our friends and neighbors – to recapture the intimacy of in-person interactions that we’ve all missed during the pandemic. This is our gesture of hope and love to New Yorkers.” Check out the recap video below. Want to join an award-winning marketing department? Check out our open roles and apply today!

Hear from a few of our colleagues who delivered financial education workshops on the benefits of budgeting, saving, building credit and more.
It's National Volunteer Week! A time to reflect on the importance of volunteerism, while empowering our colleagues to use their time, talent and resources to support causes they are passionate about. Being good citizens is at the heart of who we are. Our commitment to giving back is rooted in the belief that when people and communities succeed, we all benefit.
