CRL understands the importance of Mental Health for our employees and all individuals around the world. Today, we'd like to shed light on self-care and its importance in contributing to mental, emotional, and physical well-being. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines self-care as “the ability of individuals, families, and communities to promote health, prevent disease, maintain health, and cope with illness and disability with or without the support of a health worker.” However, at its simplest form, self-care is a form of self-love that helps us feel good. Whether your form of self-care is reading, going for a run, gardening, setting boundaries, meditating, losing track of time putting together a jigsaw puzzle, practicing gratitude, or just wearing your coziest pajamas, find things that can lift your mood and make you feel better – mind, body, and soul.
